Singing
I've always loved to sing, but didn't start performing until about 1992. I first joined a light rock band called "Unknown Legend." Then there was "Shovelhead," a classic rock band formed for Halloween, 1995. Then I started singing at blues jams in the Seattle area, and in about 1996 I formed a blues rock band called "Rain City Blues." We played clubs in the Seattle area for about two years. After I got tired of smoky clubs, late nights, and flaky bandmates, I switched to jazz. In 2003 I joined "Back Burner," a bluegrass and swing band.

A rock band called Shovelhead, formed for a Halloween party in about 1995. We dressed as bikers. I learned to play bass on two songs.
