Pork And Beans Chili Verde (Pepper Pork Stew) 1# white beans (Great Northern work well) (this is about 3 cups. Crush a pinch of rosemary in the liquid while cooking.) 3# boneless pork, cubed 2 onions, diced 2 tsp. minced garlic Heat Dutch oven, put in small amount of oil, sear the meat, add onion and garlic, stir all together until the onion limpens. 2 cans chicken broth 1/3 cup vinegar (I use ordinary cider vinegar) Add the above liquid to the meat mixture, then add spices below. After the beans are cooked, add them. The vinegar will taste very acid-y at first but this will go away and the meat will be very tender. 2 T. chili powder 1 T. cumin 1 tsp. chili garlic sauce 1 tsp. adobo sauce 3 7 oz. cans chili verde (Herdez brand is excellent)
